Lexiophiles’ Top 100 Language Blogs 2010

Lexiophiles has just announced the Top 100 Language Blogs 2010. The list continues to be dominated by blogs about language learning and language teaching, but it also includes several  good translation blogs (About Translation didn’t make the cut, this year). The translation blogs included among the Top 100 are:

Congratulations to all the blogs selected!

Check them out, if you didn’t know them already: you’ll surely find some new interesting blog.

  1. Hi Riccardo, don't worry. You're in good company. Musings from an overworked translator didn't make the cut either :-)

  2. Hello Riccardo - My blog is included in the above list (to my amazement). So thanks for the mention. And thanks especially for going to the trouble of identifying the translation blogs - it'll make a useful reading list!

    Marian (words to good effect)

  3. Thanks for compiling the list. We love your blog, and your nomination was well deserved. We didn't make the final 100 either, and as you correctly point out, there are many very large language-learning blogs with so many readers that it is tough to compete. I am, however, very happy to see that some fabulous translation blogs made the list!

  4. Sorry, I have an old-fashioned, web 2.1 website. But it is a worthwhile place to visit.

  5. There are a lot of translation blogs out there, so don't feel too bad about not being included in the top 100. Congratulations Marian though!!

  6. Thank you so much for this interesting list! I'm going to check them out!
Greetings from an argentine teenager, who wants to become a translator in the future.
